I cannot recommend this brand in good conscience. Due to frequent hardware failures and poor support, several major music stores in my region have discontinued their partnership. With reports of Sweetwater also cutting ties, it’s clear there are systemic issues within the company. If you decide to purchase, do so at your own risk, knowing the support may not be there when you need it.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, @lang. I personally have never purchased anything from this company. So knowing other member’s experiences with the company is very useful in my and others’ decision-making process.

Sharing negative experiences isn’t as easy to do as positive ones, but it’s incredibly valuable to our community to have this information. So thank you. I want to highlight this and make sure that no one gets sharing a negative experience confused with toxic behaviors that our community has zero tolerance on. The reality is, all of us have had good and positive experiences with the companies we buy from. But there can be a backlash in the popular forums for sharing negative experiences. The toxic behaviors that this community has zero tolerance on are the mistreatment of other members or really, the mistreatment of anyone. That’s really the bottom line, to be good to kind and respectful to one another.

One of the experiences that inspired me to start LinkedMusicians was my personal experience sharing a terrible experience I had with a sample library developer, Fluffy Audio, ignoring every support request I put in for more than 10 months, and Mike Greene, the owner of VI-Control. privately lashing out at me for posting the negative experience at his site, and later, using two of his friends to bully me on the site, the way he uses them with competitor developers (privately, Greene was sending me PMs the whole time finding it funny when these people I don’t know, one a known forum bully, re-peat, claimed to know me personally and cited some complete fabrications and flat out defamation, just made up stories to defame me, and Greene sent me PMs telling me how he found it funny and I deserved it for making the post; Tawnia, 8Dio’s CEO can confirm that Greene did this from later correspondence between the three of us). Greene privately told me that VI-Control isn’t a place for negative comments on his advertisers/sponsors (they pay a subscription fee to post there). We have another member of LM who held an editorial position with a well-known, international music magazine that had been banned from a popular gear forum for sharing a negative experience with an advertiser at the forum.
