I went a bit overboard, but so far this is it. I’m planning on expanding it a little bit, but I dare to say this is 90% complete and an absolute dream of mine come true.
1 CommentIt’s actually Kontakt so it probably would have passed, but who knows? I’ll be honest, I have no idea what Cakewalk/Bandlab apps even look like. I’ve only used Logic, Luna and one or two others ever since I started. I was a member on the other forum for the discussions, that’s it. I’m sure there were a lot of us like that too. I think the…Read More
Okay, I see that @gregjazz just joined the group. I’d love to some photos of that collection of gear! Of course, that might give away what sample libraries you’re working on next. But that could be fun… You could take a photo of a part of an instrument you’re recording and leave us to speculate on what it might be. Me personally, my dream would…Read More

I still have:
90’s Gibson Tennessean (favorite- sounds like a 335)
90’s Takamine Classical (favorite) and easiest to play with arthritis
70’s…Read More2 CommentsIf I could play, I’d definitely want a Les Paul. My brother had a red one when I was a kid, and the first rock album I bought at 5 years old was Led Zeppelin III, which I still love. Jimmy Page cemented my love for the Les Paul. But I’m sure if I played guitar instead of drums that my back might not have agreed with the Les Paul choice.

Okay, I just saw that my friend @thor — a talented musician who composes music for video games — posted a bunch of gear photos on his Facebook page earlier today. I added back the ability to upload photos and other images. I’m iffy about keeping that function when the site allows public registration, but for a group this size, it’s fine and we…Read More
I’m hoping that owning 11 basses, 4 guitars, a set of Yama Custom Oak drums (and I don’t even play drums) qualifies me to be a member of this wall.
Many of you may remember I also have 4 sets of physical tape emu’s and compressors for mixdown. Typically. I apply them to drums, bass, vocals and the master bus.
5 CommentsQualifies you? Bapu, you are the king of this wall. Also, I absolutely love those Yamaha drums. Back when I was a working drummer — maybe around 18 or so, I auditioned for a band that just won or took second place (I can’t recall) in Budweiser’s search for the US’ best country band. They were amazing players, and I didn’t even like much country…Read More
