One thing to remember is that you do not need to upgrade, you upgrade because you want to ๐ You can run most any perpetual licensed app for 5 years and it’ll still do what it did when you bought it! I use Nuendo by Steinberg for my DAW….upgrades are generally $199 but there are periodic sales at 40-50% off. One nice thing about Steinberg, buy an app and you can run any version up to the one you are currently running(barring license activation changes). Right now a new user for Nuendo would purchase 14 but have access to 12 and 13 as well. If you originally purchased 11 or older, which was on the eLicenser, you can go back to the first version! The new licensing activation started with Nuendo 12.
