Our own @simeon did a promotional video for the piano library for Audio Plugin Deals, that of course, features his very fine playing, but even more, he gets into the history of pianos and talks a bit about how pianos work:

I did especially enjoy @simeon giving a history lesson on the piano and a tutorial on the internal mechanical workings of pianos. As the son of a piano teacher, it reminded me of my childhood! For $19.95 US this is extremely tempting. I’m just trying to consider how the tone of the instrument would fit into the contexts where I would use it — which I would imagine would be more acoustic-based settings. I can’t imagine this tone would cut through a rock mix, but I would welcome feedback from anyone who owns it.
