[MOD EDIT: i’m sure that satya would be okay with me correcting this. It’s actually only £1, not $5. I merely corrected the title to reflect the correct amount. – Peter]
A video I found made by Audio Plugin Deals where they go through / promote Ascension. I thought others might find it useful when considering this deal.

It still works for me (I just tried it). Maybe they’re geotargeting and limiting it? If you have a VPN and can use a US IP, my guess is that it would work. If you try, let us know the results.

Thanks @peter
Confirmed!
It was a VPN that I use sometimes to connect with some services, and it was running… 🙁

@jorge, I just bought it too! Hey, it was $1.32 US total! And I know there are a bunch of free presets for it all over the web, so I thought, for a little over a buck, why not? Although I’m not completely certain that I haven’t bought it before for a similar price. I just didn’t see it when I checcked my VSTs in my DAW and searched my Gmail account!

@jorge I won’t be able to get to it until later tonight — if at all today. If you have a chance to spend some time with it, I’d love to get your thoughts. Plus, you’re a lot more skilled with soft synths than me, so I’m sure you’ll have some insights that would be far beyond what I could discern.
I own a bunch of soft synths, but I don’t make my own presets, I am a lowly preset player, as I once confided to Ben Gillet (Camel Audio) when we met up in Edinburgh many years ago. Ben was explaining to me how the prospective buyers of soft synths commonly say that they want a synth they can program, but the overwhelming majority end up only using presets. The difference with me is that I know up front that I’m not going to venture into making my own patches. I would rather just attempt to make music and leave the making or presets to people with those skills. I’m happy to have an idea in my head and search for a preset that comes close to it. I suppose that’s where AI could really be of use in this space. If we’re working on a tune and have a strong idea of a sound we want, we could write a good prompt and audition patches that are a result of that. Although, I’m guessing from your professional background, you might prefer to simply make things yourself.

I would like to test it… but I have a busy weekend and I think that it won’t be possible until the next days (or weeks)
If I get some progress with this, I will tell something about it
About the presets, as you say, I prefer to use the existing presets, but sometimes I create my own presets If I don’t find something that I need. In other moments, I use some existing preset, edit it, or/and add effects to get that I want.
I like the flexibility of the virtual instruments to create/modify a preset. For my is a must.

Man, I spent my $1.32 last week and still haven’t installed it, and now it looks like I’m going to spend a buck to pick up the additional presets.Oh well, at least my plugin hoarding is costing a total of less than 3 bucks!
Have you tried the synth yet, @jorge?

Not yet, I’m very busy here… but FYI, you’re not alone and I bought it last week too… we’re in the same boat.
