"I’m not reading all that,” they say. No problem. I’m cool with whatever, a Natural Born Weirdo who came to the joys of music-making rather late in life. While this may strike musicians as tragic, it's actually a good thing, as I almost certainy would have died from some excess or another in penniless obscurity decades ago rather than penniless obscurity any day now.

The course of my life - the events, encounters, relationships and the insights generated within the maelstrom - has been exceptionally strange, my fortunes rising and falling like, and with, the sun and moon. What I learn, I learn the hard way at a snail's pace. My ambitions and expectations are vanishingly small and transient, and my ambivalence & predispositions don’t lend themselves to winning the affections of crowds.

But I digress. This is a musicians’ virtual watering hole, and, as such, I’ll disclose my affection for All Things Synth-y. I have a few pieces of hardware (nothing exotic), but Pigments is my touchstone, as I’ve been a user since its first incarnation. I use Logic Pro (far) more for playing than recording - mostly, but not exclusively, ambient. As a player, I gravitate toward sounds & vibes of a Mystical and experimental nature while remaining strongly averse averse to New Age boredom. As a listener, my tastes are extremely broad. I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing many remarkable performers and performances from Philip Glass to Brutal Juice and all points in between - waaaay too many to list here or anywhere.

Being an introvert in a rural location, I don’t have the luxury of being around many people who love music, but it’s nice when it happens. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Maybe I’ll see you around.
