You pay for the release once and any monies to be paid out are paid quarterly&#8230;for the rest of your life! 🙂 I&#8217;ve released 3 albums with them and with absolutely no marketing on my part I get about 100.00 a quarter&#8230;last quarter my BMI payment was 100.00 as well. For not pushing my music much that&#8217;s pretty good!</p>

<p>Somewhere around Sonar Platinum the program would forget my interface every time I opened it and I would have to reload it&#8230;I was on an Echo Layla3G so not a USB interface but I think they made changes under the hood for people having trouble USB interfaces and it negatively affected mine. Samplitude blows it out of the water as far as capability goes but it was just awkward to use. Soon after a cheap crossgrade to Cubase came up and I started using that and took no time at all to get acclimated. A year or so after that I went all in and went to Nuendo.
