Excellent Sampled Piano Plugins Under $30. Kontakt Not Required.

I put together this list of sampled acoustic piano plugins that I own that are all excellent quality and are now on sale for relatively low prices and more accessible to more people. These are more personal opinions. Please weigh in if you agree or disagree with my assessment and explain why. If know of other high-quality sampled acoustic piano library plugins with several velocity layers now selling for under $30, please post them here with your own experience and opinions.

GOOD:
UJAM Virtual Pianist Vogue $8.10
It sounds lovely and has a great deal of presets.

VERY GOOD:
Universal Audio Ravel Grand Piano $26.10

It sounds more sophisticated than UJAM’s Virtual Pianist to my ears, but it still doesn’t have the beautiful tone and realism of the Pianoverse line.

BEST: PIANOVERSE PIANOS
These all sound amazing and are a joy to play. I would put them in the same league as sampled piano libraries, costing far more. Listen to the audio demos and select the piano or pianos with the tone that most greatly appeals to you, because they all sound superb.
