Is this worth $56?
The Weiss software has traditionally been overpriced in my opinion, but also generally very good sound quality. I got the whole bundle as a pricing mistake on an upgrade, but if I hadn’t then I’d be happy to pay this price for the compressor / limiter.
It’s based on the algorithms of very expensive hardware (digital). The hardware DS1-MK3 is over $15K now it seems on Vintage King and being digital, the plugin actually gets a lot closer to that, than an analog emulation can as it’s a 1-1 port of the code:
