Though I used OTS as an example, I wasn’t comparing them directly to OTS. I was comparing the information given about the products to their prices, and pointing out the apparent mismatch.

Once you have OTS or AmpleSound guitars, there is no need to buy inferior products. You can always make an instrument sound worse, if you really want to.

Their complete guitar bundle, containing 13 guitar models, seem interesting. It would be about 60 euros after discount.

The links Peter provided lead to version 0.6.2. I can’t find the actual download for version 2 either.

Is this an all-time low? I’ve been waiting for a good offer on the upgrade, but looks like one isn’t coming.

This was surprisingly disappointing.

Good thing the download comes with a data sheet. Except for the impact sounds (which all sound more or less the same), every file sounded like someone swirling their hand in a bowl of wet noodles.

I don’t think I’m going to update my FX Collection from 3 to 5, but I’m on v9 of V Collection and I’m tempted by all the augmented instruments.

What is really perplexing to me is that these companies do not seem to understand that every discussion they have with a customer should be treated as public. You should never write anything in an email you wouldn’t want to see on the front page of the New York Times.

The AudioDeluxe website hasn’t worked properly for me ever since they updated it. It’s probably my browser’s security settings causing the problems, but with the amount of trackers and analytics scripts AudioDeluxe uses, I’m not going to disable them or visit the site with Chrome.

I’m always tempted by these, but then I remember that Vintage Vault 4 was momentarily available for ~$125 from Native Instrument. I’ll wait until it hits that price point again and buy the whole shebang.
