Updated to version 2 now, still free
Where did you see the version 2 update?
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.

As far as I can tell 0.6.2 is not ZL Equalizer 2. If you go to the github releases page
https://github.com/ZL-Audio/ZLEqualizer/releases/tag/0.6.2
It explicitly states:
Update 2025 Sept 10th:
0.6.2 will be the last version of ZL Equalizer. See you in ZL Equalizer 2 soon (hopefully).
The above link is where you get to if you click on the first link and then click on Installation and then click on “GitHub release page“.
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.
Of course version 0.6.2 is not version 2. The first link is the one provided by @jorge on October 11, 2024. Peter provided the new one
You might be able to get a “Version 2” if you compile from source but I would not put too much stock in its stability or features. There is active development going on with the last github commit being about an hour ago. So until there is an actual 2 release, I would stick with version 1.
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.
Hello there,
just dropping in to say that you can indeed download the 2.0 version from the link in the OP. https://github.com/ZL-Audio/ZLEqualizer/releases – 2.0 is just confusingly tagged as “1.0.0 pre-release”. Oh, and x86 is x64 to complete the confusion 🙂
Cheers!

Thanks for this. The 2.0 prerelease wasn’t there when we were all looking for it. As pseudopop says, it was only added a few hours ago.
