I love this. Rock-Jazz-Fusion band, Vital Information, is given a song and are challenged to quickly come up with a unique arrangement. In this case, they are presented with the Soundgarden song, “Black Hole Sun,” and I think they absolutely kill it. Just a great job.

It was at least a decade and a half ago when I became familiar with singer/songwriter Reid Jamieson. He’s an incredibly talented artist from Vancouver. When I first heard Reid’s music, I bought every CD he had. I compared his talent to Jeff Buckley. It’s a testimony to how screwed up the industry is that he isn’t a name every rock musician knows. I try to do my part and tell others about him.
