I’m still on rev 6.5. The $250 update will get me Neutron 5 and Ozone 12 plus a bunch of misc plugins I may or may not use. I use a lot of iZotope products but still deciding on this one. I’m still kinda mad at iZotope for their short-lived 6.5 version with the poor update price to 7.0. It was pre-NI and I’m sure it had to do with increasing their value proposition at our expense.
But since my version now falls in the “rev 1 – 6.5” update pricing schedule, I’m already in the obsolete bucket so I can afford to wait until the Suite contains more new versions for me. Yes, I’ll wait longer. Ozone 11 is just fine for now.

I’m more upset with iZotope from you. I bought a bundle similar to the Music Production Suite — a bundle they discontinued — and then I upgraded a bunch of stuff to the advanced versions and have everything and more than that’s in the Mix and Master bundle, but iZtope will not extend upgrade pricing for the Music Production Suite for me, and as my bundle no longer exists, I have to purchase a bundle just like someone who only has a cheap $29 lite iZotope plugin. That has kept me from upgrading for close to two years. And I seem to be doing just fine anyhow. But it is really frustrating. I tried with them three different times. And then, I remember seeing a post from someone boasting that they bought the Music Production Suite Update without owning any earlier version and got the upgrade during a glitch sale and iZotope honored it. When we hit 10,000 unique visitors a month — pretty soon — I’m going to send my PR contact at their parent company a note about how screwed up this is. I didn’t ask for anything free. I own every product in the bundle and more advanced versions and they still refuse to give me bundle pricing. I bet Peter, IK’s marketing manager, would agree that’s really not smart on their part.
