NOTE: I own VoiceAI. The perpetual license lets you use it — on a good deal of voices — without paying the fees you’d have to pay online and for other services (by running the process on your local computer). It works well and sounds pretty good and the price has come down since I bought it. Although I haven’t used it on anything I’ve shared since one song mixed very softly as a backing vocal.

It’s very easy to use – a no-brainer, really, and it’s a lot cheaper than the web-based services that do the same function. I would use it, but my kids — who, I’ll be candid, are really my main audience for the music I make — tell me to just try and do a better job singing, don’t use AI. Consequently, I used it on one song and stopped using it. But I might try it for harmonies in the future.
