One Year of LinkedMusicians: Big Updates & New Tools

We are officially approaching our one-year anniversary since taking LinkedMusicians public this April, and the growth has been incredible. We’ve hit a milestone of **20,000+ unique monthly visitors!

To celebrate and improve the experience, we’ve been busy making some significant upgrades based on everything we’ve learned this past year.

Honoring Our Roots
We started in closed beta with just 120 people (many from the Cakewalk forums). While you make up about a small percentage of our website visitors, you are the foundation of this community.
* **New “Early Adopter” Titles:** All beta users now have a special badge in the forums so we can recognize the people who helped build this.

New Tools for Your Workflow
This week, we’ve added two major features to help with your creative process (we’ve added several new features over the past few weeks):
1. **The Songwriter’s Toolbox:** Enter any word to find rhymes, synonyms, and creative inspiration.
2. **Scale, Mode & Chord Finder:** Enter a note to instantly see your scale. mode, and chord options.

Improved Navigation
We’ve reorganized the site menu to make finding content and tools much more intuitive. If you usually stick to the **Deals Forum**, I encourage you to take two minutes to click around! Whether you mix, master, or compose, there is something new here for you.

A Note From My Heart
This site is, in many ways, a love letter to music-making, to my late mother and siblings, and to the teachers and musicians who shaped me. It is a passion project built on the hope of making music more accessible to everyone and to creating a place where the toxicity common to social media and the big legacy forums has no home.

But it only succeeds because of you.
