Just a simple FYI.
I realize that our members haven’t spent much time in OPEN MIC. It works like Facebook Groups, reddit, and other social media platforms when it comes to making posts, created threads, and commenting. When you want to comment on a thread (technically, it’s called a status update) just look at the bottom of the original post that you’re replying to, click COMMENT and your comment will always stay connected to what you commented on.Otherwise, you’ll be creating a new thread out of context and disconnected to the thread you meant to comment on.
After a couple of new threads are created, your lone thread will basically drift into nowhere, disconnected from the thread you were responding to. That’s the same way it works on any social media platform. So, if you find you accidentally created a new thread, it’s fine. Just cut and paste what you wrote into a comment and delete the thread you accidentally created.
