Just a little sample library history for everyone. Cinesamples became beloved in the composer world for their brilliant Kontakt scripting. It was considered very innovative. In fact, that’s where I first heard of the name Greg Schlaepfer. He was the person doing that Kontakt scripting prior to founding Orange Tree Samples. I don’t have any Cinesamples paid libraries. While the Tina Guo and their Piano in Blue libraries sound fantastic to me, I’ve just been watching my budget. But sooner or later I’m going to buy Piano in Blue. That sound is just incredible to my ears. The Tina Guo cello libraries also sound fantastic, but, in the end, have too much reverb baked in for my tastes, and since I learned on this forum that there’s an Abbey Road Quartet library — I know what I want for Christmas. (Not even kidding).
