Kirk and I chatted for hours a few months ago, and he has talked about closing up for years — something I, of course, can only reveal now because he’s made this announcement. He is a songwriter and he shared a bunch of stuff he’s written recently, I don’t know if he’s ready to talk about it yet, but I’m sure that either I can record an interview, get him to post here or  at least answer some questions I can relay. I was thinking once things settled down it would be cool to have Kirk here. Maybe he’ll still want to be part of this community even though he’s closing his business. He’s still a musician, songwriter and a singer. He has a heck of a voice too.
