Hmmm… This sounds very much like stream of consciousness — but I’m going to call it Socratic dialogue, but I was following Arranger King and after your post now I want to learn about Song Sketch 2, which I don’t recall knowing much about either of these.

Songsketch 2 is only for Ableton Live Suite. It’s a Max4Live Device. Similar to ArranerKing it offers arrangement templates, but uses a different approach.
