Take a look everyone. And a bunch of people asked for this. @lamia6 has been using bbPress (the forum platform) for a long time and codes. She wrote a plugin to do this just to be helpful. @doug you’re absolutely welcome to look at the settings, but I’ve researched this and one the bbPress team members directed someone to a script, making clear that there’s no way to do it without a script (bbPress is incredibly barebones). The guy has written a few of the plugins I use on this site.

But everyone who wanted this feature — it’s now live, and we have lamia6 to thank for it. I really can’t adequately convey how grateful I am to her. I sincerely have referred to her to my wife as one of my new best friends. She’s stepped up so many times to help me with this site. I hope everyone who wanted this feature will post their thanks to her, because I didn’t make it happen. She did.
