I’d be interested in learning all the different ways people use this. I don’t need it to figure out chords for me. I’ve had enough training and music theory where I understand how to create different chords. But I wonder, could I use it to play a chord sequence into and let it come up with chord substitutions without me doing a thing and cause me to try something different.
I could have gotten this wrong, but @dsteinschneider, was it you that once posted that you are a music educator? If so, I would especially be interested in your thoughts about how Scaler 3 might be useful to someone like me, who isn’t by any means at the same level as someone who majored in music or got an advanced degree in music, but has around a year of music theory training and several years of piano and organ lessons. I wouldn’t have an interest or the patience to use it to have it play chords for me when I press a finger, but I would be interested in some of the functionality I’ve read about where, for instance, it can play with melodies, trying them in different modes. I could do that myself, but it would be kind of fun to enter in a melody, and have it try out a bunch of variations.
Again, I would be interested in learning of the various uses of the plugin beyond helping people play chords, which wouldn’t apply to me.
