I have collected most of the Unfiltered Audio line during the crazy no minimum sales that seem to be a thing of the past.

Sandman Pro and the aptly-named Instant Delay are excellent plug-ins, useful in a wide variety of contexts.

Dent/Indent on the other hand….it’s not possible in my book for an Unfiltered Audio processor to have no useful sounds depending on the context, these are the sort of processors that you’ll dig if you’re into Glitchmachines.

They are distortions, and I find the distortion algorithms to be very digital sounding, even the one that’s labeled as tube distortion. So they’re good for that sort of thing if that’s your thing. Nine Inch Nails and the like? It’s for messing with an audio signal, not enhancing it like a good saturation plug-in.

So take this into consideration, and if you want Sandman Pro and Instant Delay, buying Sandman Pro always gets you a license for Instant Delay. So wait for the price to drop on Sandman Pro and snap it up.

tl/dr:

Instant Delay is essential (in my sound design book), Sandman Pro is an excellent tool for creating complex delays, and Indent/Dent are specialized tools for adding crush-y distortion.
