Before you pick it up, I’d recommend that you look deeper, beyond the $2 lower price point. Audio Deluxe Bucks — their loyalty program — alone makes up more than that difference. This purchase earns the equivalent of a $4.77 on your next purchase (this purchase earns 477 Deluxe Bucks and 100 Deluxe Bucks = $1 discount on purchases), more than twice the cash savings from using JRR PLUS . Plus, beyond Voices of Passion, there are two other plugin-freebie choices (neither of them are even close to as compelling; that’s why I didn’t mention them in the original post): UVI Model D and WA Fundamental Bass, which even though they’re nowhere close to as good Voices of Passion, are easily worth more than the $2 cost difference.

I used to buy a lot of stuff at JRR Shop before I discovered Audio Deluxe. Both stores often have the lowest prices after using codes — and they’re commonly the same or within 1-2% of one another, but JRR Shop doesn’t have a loyalty program or freebies with purchase, so I’ve consistently found that when you factor those two things in, Audio Deluxe has the better deals and when we add the price comparison section, I think I’m going to have Plugin Boutique, Best Service, Audio Deluxe and possibly Thomann and Gears4Music. (It’s a lot of work and custom programming costs to add each retailer, so I’m going to be strategic about which ones are included and use the experience I’ve gained from handling two Black Friday sales here at LM).
