🆓 New FREE RECOMMENDED Kontakt / Kontakt Player Libraries!!!

I just added some new, excellent FREE Kontakt libraries to the LinkedMusicians curated list of best FREE Kontakt libraries. Even more, the added libraries are for the FREE Kontakt Player, so everyone can enjoy them.

The Best Free Kontakt Libraries page is regularly one of the most popular pages on the site — commonly in 4th to 5th place. But our members seem to forget about it, so here’s a reminder. I originally started the list in Google Docs during the pandemic, around 4 years ago. It represents free Kontakt libraries that I have spent time with and find high quality, worthy of my recommendation. I realize that there are hundreds of web pages of lists of free Kontakt libraries, but almost none of them are carefully curated. When I’ve gone through them, I see a mix of very good, good, mediocre, and not good — or extremely low-end and amateur level libraries — all lumped together. The idea behind the curated lists I’ve compiled is that these are all very high-quality sample libraries, some that rival paid libraries or were once a paid library.

I’ve organized the libraries by category so that you can easily find what you’re looking for. I’ve been putting the newest additions at the top of each respective category.
