Sorry. Referral codes are against the community rules for community members to post (I know, no one reads the rules!). I can’t even make enough from affiliate URLs to pay to maintain the site (no doubt because we don’t have a very big community and some folks just don’t like to use them even though they don’t change the sale price). No forums allow members to use referral codes, it turns posts into SPAM central.

Hey, I had to tell the same thing to MusicMan, and he ended up helping me out a bunch on getting set up with our email alerts. Hey, I’m a marketing and business strategy guy. while I’m very tech savvy and most of my career has been with tech companies, I’m certainly not an actual IT pro and when things start getting really tricky, it’s great to have pros in this community who are super helpful.
On a related note, I’m going to soon be putting up a page that lists the people who’ve really been an enormous help to me, like @Lamia6 (we have DMs nearly every day!), @Doug, @MusicMan, @BluesCat, @JoeGBradford, and @mustakatu. These folks are all just really wonderful, kind, helpful people who’ve been a real help to this community, and I am very grateful for each of them.

Has anyone compared FireSpacer against the classic Trackspacer?
Just finished (at least for the moment) comparing the two.
In a busy mix trying to give a stereo synth melody more clarity without resorting to drastic EQ or using excessive volume while not burying the instruments panned to the sides.
I found Trackspacer easier to wrap my brain around.
By using M/S mode at 100% M, and adjusting the low cut/high filters I pretty much got what I was looking for.
I tried to match that with Firespacer using the 2 higher CPU modes (forget which on I settled on).
A couple of the controls didn’t work intuitively for me – possibly some preconception bias but I found that I had to ignore what the GUI showed and use my ears because I wasn’t hearing what I was seeing.
In the end I was able to get a something comparable. It had a little more clarity on a couple of the stereo parts at the end of a particular section where there’s a lot going on, but I’m not 100% sure that I like it better that way or not.
Note that the side-chain audition (ability to solo the side chain audio) sucks on Firespacer – you can’t hear the effect of the low cut or high cut filters only the input volume.
My initial impression is that in spite of Firespacer feeling like someone miswired the controls that it can do the job.
Can it do a better job that Trackspacer? I’d have to play with it more to really say so one way or the other.
Which is easier to use? I’d have to say Trackspacer at the moment.
At some point I’ll need to give this comparison another go ’round.
Of course YMMV. If you’re really interested in Firespacer load it up and take advantage of the free trial.

@thesteven So you’re aware, I installed an update for the plugin that does automoderation recently, and it keeps holding a bunch of posts up — funny enough, including my own LinkedMusicians posts! I have been trying to figure it out and made some adjustments, but it’s still catching stuff that it shouldn’t. So, please accept my apologies for it holding up your post! I approved it as soon as I saw it. And thanks for sharing the insights. I bought Trackspacer last year, but still haven’t found the time to install it and try it out.
