Better prices than I saw on a number of plugins from Plugin Boutique and JRR Shop (I did find one that JRR Shop had for $.30 or so less).

I’d love to get thoughts from community members with more audio engineering knowledge and skills than me (okay, that’s pretty much all of you!). These prices are incredibly low. I can’t recall that they’ve ever been anywhere close to these deals. I know that Oxford Inflator is one that a lot of really knowledgeable people recommend. What else is there that’s worth considering?

You can use the FORUM code at JRR Shop to bring the prices lower than at Best Service. I was interested in VoxDoubler. The price at JRR Shop is $8.01 with FORUM. At BestService it is $8.36. Do you get back 28 cents in BestCoin but that still leaves it slightly more expensive than JRR.
Oh the things we do to save a penny or two.
This would be a clever signature if I could think of one.

@Doug There were some plugins that were cheaper at Best Service, as I compared the two — using the Forum discount last night (I originally had a link to JRR then revised it). In any event, this whole thing led me to a long term idea for the site I’m going to share in the forum where I share ideas I have for the site — and invite others to share their ideas.
I prefer sharing there, as it’s members only — and the search engines and other forums can’t see it — unless spies show it to them! Which, actually is a thing that regularly happens. Should we call those folks spies or snitches? Hahaha. I say snitches!!! (Okay, IRL, I would never say that seriously, only for a laugh.) Anyhow, I’m going to tag you.

Tag me? Does that mean I’ll be it?

You are it! The thread where I tagged you is here. Granted, I may be the only one who thinks this idea is cool — but I suppose I’ll find out soon! That’s why I put it out there.

With the recent retirements of Oxford DeBuzzer, DeClicker, and DeNoiser, I can’t help but wonder what plans Focusrite has for Sonnox’s future. Considering that Focusrite did offer people who bought those plugins in May or June full refunds—while letting them keep their licenses — I don’t think that they have immediate plans to retire them, but I suspect this is the start of something, like a revamping of their existing plugins and a new generation of plugins. These are some amazing deals and I would LOVE to see some of our members more experienced with audio engineering weigh in on what they think of Sonnox’s plugins. I know that Oxford Inflator has long been highly regarded.

When I demoed Claro back in black friday or close to it, I really liked how the sound was. Just was too resource hungry (at least on my decade old gaming rig).
