ANALOG TECHNO Studio Jam feat. Inge – “Groei met me mee” (Grow with me)

I love these jams where it looks easy and it actually was. It came together pretty quick, everything fits, one take and done! Even mixing was very minimal except for the vocal which needed cleaning up (which is normal when you record while music is playing). I think I only used a bit of EQ and saturation on the rest. With compression only on the master.

It’s lovely, @nickblanc. Very melodic and easy to get lost in. As usual, Inge’s voice sounds wonderful on it. I have one (silly) question: I saw an acoustic guitar in the video. Is that going to be played in an upcoming song, and if so, is it yours or Inge’s guitar?

Thanks! It has this chill dreamy vibe to it, so I get where you’re coming from.

Regarding the guitar; it’s mine. Inge was between houses and borrowed it for a couple of months while hers was in storage. The chances of me playing it are slim to none. I’ve lost a couple of digits on my fingers and I would have to ‘rework’ (I don’t know the english term) the strings so I can do the fretboard with my right hand. It’s more for decoration and for guests who want to play. Hence the black colour, it looks cool.
