@peter At least, It worked properly for me. Hmm… it feels odd.

the “code” worked but once installed, the installer app, it doesn’t show the plugin until you sign up for a “free trial” (meaning provide them with a credit card), and no guarantee (i can see) that the “free plugin” would remain so if you don’t get the full subscription… so it seems sketchy. uninstalled and removed my account on their web site.

they are checking the referer from the browser and passing it around

Oh, I am shocked to hear these problems.

I trusted Capsule Audio because their products were given away on Forcusrite Collective.

I may have to reconsider.

All worked fine for me. I completely missed that email, so I’m glad I saw it here. I doubt it made any difference, but I did click the link from my email instead.

Hmm…Apparently I’m doing something different than you guys. I’m attempting to put the code in after I put the plugin in my cart and it reads “invalid.”

Granted, I listened to the demo and didn’t think it sounds very good, but I’m too invested to give up at this point! Haha.

Just in case anyone else is a little confused by the user experience (and copy). The process to use the code at the end of the survey in order to get a free Capsule is as follows:

1. Login to your account or create an account if you don’t have one and go to the dashboard
2. Scroll down to where it reads “Licenses You Own” and click on the “+” above the copy, “Register a new product.”
3. Enter the code from the form and you’re good.

Ah thanks for the clarification. It didn’t work for me in the cart so I gave up. I’ve got Capsule installed so will try the other method!
