There are some rumors spreading that people uses every plugin they bought.
I tend to use most of them. I really look at the deals to know what is happening and decide if something fits in the kind of soundscape I want do develope. Because for me, everything multiplies per 6 in costs and I have to make very precise decisions.
Sometimes I begin a distant relationship with a plugin for months or an year just awaiting the moment that the price fits in my wallet. And for me, new plugins = new ideas.
New album soon!

On Brian saidI banished Waves from my system last year when they briefly went subscription. It remains “Data non-grata”.
That was a really clever and funny line. I laughed out loud. I’ll be using that in the future.
It’s been said an experienced carpenter doesn’t have just one hammer, saw, sander etc. (s)he may not use them all, all the time but they are available.

I’m going to use this next time my wife asks about me buying another plugin…
I can’t vote in the poll. I need a “sometimes” option. I usually install a new purchase right away. …then promptly forget about it. I usually try them out a few times, and if I like them, I’ll remember i own them. If I really like them, they’ll make it into my template or onto an FX chain.
I find I have been downloading FREE plugins less and less because 9 times out of 10 they are abandoned by the developer.
