I’ll put this in a tangent post rather than a PM, @mira. As you’ve already shared, for anyone reading this and wondering why I’m going on this tangent (!) — it’s because you’ve shared that you’re posting from the hospital.

You know that you’re an MVP here. You’ve been one of the people whose kindness was part of my inspiration to create this community. I’ve always been more interested in this place being kind, helpful, and encouraging than how big it gets. It’s far more important to me to create a place where people model and value kindness, honesty, and helpfulness. The kind of place where people like you are valued, as I believe things should be. What could be more important in life than how we value and treat one another? Nothing, IMO.

Hopefully, in 2026, as this community continues to grow, we’ll spend more attention on sharing our music, and on conversations on the music that inspires us, our own journeys and experiences relating to performing, songwriting, composing, production, and getting our music heard. In a practical sense, it is good that our deals forum is successful, as that does help with the costs of operating this site. But, of course, my vision for this community is for far more than deals.

During your stay in the hospital, if you wanted to discuss all things music — feel free to start a thread in the All Things Music section, and I’ll certainly join in! Or you can post in OPEN MIC. It would be cool to learn more about your musical tastes and what you love to play.

Hello dear amazing Peter And hello to all, Its 0:17 am here And still can’t sleep. We sleep during day 🍀 this place Is, And Will be Always more for me and more fór others than deal forums. Its a place when everyone can JOIN. This place has positive Vibe… Positive Soul… And i Meet here many fantastic people WHO not only love music And deals but love life… I think most of us share one thing , And Its Real love fór music in any Form. Im So So much thankful, that you dearn Peter make this place….  Its Always nice to see almost any comment, any idea … Its place which i come Věry often And Always have good Feels when im here. You always write such touching messages, @mira. If you find yourself still awake and want to join in this thread I created to share what you’ve been up to musically — heck, I own this place, you know that you can, like me, go on a tangent about whatever’s going on and it’s welcomed! Heck, turn us on to music you love — link to the artist on YouTube or Spotify. Or just share anything you feel like sharing. It sucks to be in the hospital and I’m sitting on a couch hanging out with my family watching an American football game and would love to learn more about your musical tastes, musical interests, etc. if you feel like sharing. That’s what I want this place to be about anyhow! So, if you feel like sharing, please do!

But once again, most of all, know that you’re in my thoughts and I’m hoping for good things to happen for you.
