I hope they code sample libraries better than they coded that web page pop up. What a mess. I had to try it on a different browser (I usually use Chrome) and it still had a ton of problems.

I just tried this free guitar plugin. While the samples sound fine, and the patches sound decent, the playability is terrible. Notes suddenly don’t play. You have to slam the keys to even get notes to trigger. Not a problem, but the mod wheel does nothing. I expected there be a way to bend notes, but there isn’t that I could figure out.

I can say that the Six String Audio Ultimate Rock Guitar – Free does not rock. Hopefully, the developer will make the necessary fixes to make this playable. It certainly doesn’t make the LinkedMusicians list of Best Free Kontakt Instruments, which is why I wanted to check it out ASAP. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend downloading this.
