I wasn’t very familiar with Hertz, and I found that Sound on Sound gave their Drum Bundle an excellent review a couple of years ago. But they did note that its use is really limited to metal. I mean, everything about the various drums from Hertz that I listened to sounded very appropriate for metal, but wouldn’t fit well with other genres. So, if you’re doing metal, I think this is well worth checking out. I only wish — for $19 — that I could use it!
