The ultimate music production bundle
Take your music creation to the next level with the Ultimate Sound and Groove Workstation Bundle from IK Multimedia. Download over 600 GB of professional, genre-defining and genre-defying pianos, drums, guitars, bass, brass, orchestral instruments, organs, synthesizer sounds, and many premade loops, presets, and more. Get the sounds you need to bring your ideas to life and into the ears of millions, while supporting Music Will with your purchase!
IMHO The $1 deal is a no brainer. I’ve got it last time and the amount of sounds that you get is insane. You only need to make some space on the hard drive for them. 🙂

What do you think? Did you
I know no one wants to hear my old stories — but… Ziff Davis is taking the Red model — a campaign I worked on early on.
Basically, it’s exploiting a charity to bring in for profit sales. Don’t ever mistake it for actual charity. There’s a charity involved, but they’re a tiny piece of it — it’s really just a promotional technique.
At first I found it profoundly offensive and ethically problematic. It took Bono to pragmatically convince me that charities are struggling and that this model may be what keeps some charities funded. In Ziff Davis’ case, they’re a publisher. For profit. The gimmick is to leverage a charity to make the cause look more legit and altruistic, so that people can get a deal and feel as if they’re doing good without actually doing good. It works, but just know, if you want to help a charity, this only sends 5% towards charity and is primarily just a technique to promote for profit sales.
Okay, so if you stayed this long, so Bono came into my office for a visit. I completely forgot he was coming and was too late to meet him.

Remember that when you buy a bundle from Humble Bundle
- The price that is selected by default is greater than the minimum needed to get the whole bundle
- You can adjust how the money is split between different parties (the setting is under the Checkout button)
I’m not sensing a lot of love for IK there!

When I adjust the breakdown sliders at HB, I always toss the developer of the product at least some. After all, we want to encourage them to keep participating, do we not?

As much as the graphic gave me a laugh, I completely agree with you, Superrabbit.

Absolutely. Personally, I usually use the “Extra to charity” option, unless it seems particularly unbalanced or if I have a reason to believe that the developer is just using Humble to milk the last drops from their products.
