Does anyone know if these are multi-lingual?
If they software is in German too, it might be interesting for the kids.
I would suggest contacting the developer (linked below).
There’s a lot of misunderstanding of Humble Bundle. It’s a completely for profit operation that uses charity as a marketing device to sell product. It’s owned by the magazine publisher Ziff Davis. It’s really just another retailer of products. So sellers aren’t giving away products like charity, they’re making a profit. Only something like 5% of the sale goes to charity, and like every other business, they use influencers, affiliate marketing and advertising. They just tend to discount software that isn’t selling very well for developers and publishers. So you can contact the software publisher, just as you would if you were purchasing from any other reseller, and ask them that question. My instincts are that if they do offer a different language version, you’d need to purchase that title separately. I actually bought a couple of these titles more than a decade ago for my son to use with a MIDI keyboard. They’re really old, but they’re decent learning tools, IMO.

Yes, by default only a small percentage goes to charity, but there is an option to change the percentages
Personally I usually set the Humblebundle “cut” to the minimum and split the rest between the charity and the publisher. The UI is a little annoying because of how adjusting one slider auto-adjusts the others and there is no option to “lock” one.
After tweaking the numbers, you may want to save a screenshot of how much was actually given to charity, in case at the end of the year the aggregate amounts are significant enough to report them on your taxes (Disclaimer: I am not making an assertion that this is deductible. This is not professional tax advice. Use your own judgement and/or talk to a pro. This will depend on your country/jurisdiction)

I know in the US, only charitable organizations are tax deductable, so for Americans — and those in many other countries — there is no tax deduction for Humble Bundle purchases — even if you donate far beyond the value of the items (of course, you can’t claim a charitable deduction when the cost of goods you receive is equal to the amount paid anyhow).
