Please share whether or not you plan on buying from Bestservice.com again if and when their e-commerce website is back up and running. FTR, this is certainly not intended as a thread to disparage Best Service. Personally, I will likely continue to buy from them. However, I want to hear from the community whether or not you will be comfortable buying from them again or not, to help me determine if I want to continue an affiliate relationship with them or not.

When BestService.com goes back online that Best Service, my guess it that they will likely have a special offer to incentivize customers to buy from them again, such as a special credit or discount code. Again, that’s just a guess, but when you see an online retailer’s site go down for an extended period — and this is an exceptionally long period for an online retail site to be down — it will likely take a little extra effort to get customers to start buying from them again.

I will stick with them because I have received good service from them over the years, and who doesn’t want to get a better deal? They absolutely screwed up by not saying SOMETHING on social media before (was it 5?) days went by. Certainly a reminder to keep copies of your serials. I keep mine in the “Notes” field of Bitwarden- I suspect most password managers have similar facility. I collected a bunch of freebies from Plugin Boutique that I have not saved elsewhere, but I am not really using them either 😛
They certainly have some ‘splainin’ to do.
I might be tempted to buy a license that they are reselling, because they do seem to often have the best price by a few dollars, but is it worth a few dollars to avoid this sort of scare?

I really like the fact that we can have different views and respect one another. If you want to see environments where that didn’t happen on this topic — check out VI-Control’s thread on Best Service. I respect both Brian’s and Erik’s points of view. Both make good points. I completely understand why the way this whole matter was handled would be the end of some relationships. I think that is a reasonable perspective to have. When I look at the current poll results, and see 12 votes for yes, and 4 votes for uncertain.
I just heard back from the Best Service manager I’ve been communicating with (Marko). Marko does not want me to share the information that he shared privately with me. But wants me to refer people to their website, where he says they will be updating information as soon as they know more. In any event, I am hopeful that they are working on things and will get their site back up.
