Yeah, I know exactly what you’re talking about. I always give preference to the Kontakt Player libraries. I made this observation to developers several years ago, that while it — at that point — was somewhat costly and a hassle to make a Kontakt library a Player library, there might be significant benefits to it in terms of usage and brand visibility. For example, I almost start every project with piano, and I rarely use a non-Player piano library, even though I’ve bought a ton of them and I love a bunch of them. But it’s so easy to just go in and click on one of those banners for the Player libraries than find them on one of my drives. In reality, the difference is around 1 minute, but there’s still something psychological about having those libraries presented visually with the banners that makes them seem a lot more convenient.
