I love The Eagles. One of the all tine great American country rock bands. Great songwriters. I’ve never seen them live but own some commercial Blu-rays of their concerts I’ve watched many times.

I remember back in the 1980s I was an avid reader of Modern Drummer, and Henley who is quite famously very arrogant, had a featured interview and said something like, “I’m not just some Neanderthal who only plays drums.” The next month the letters to the editor,  the editor noted they’ve never seen so many angry readers replying to Henley’s remarks. Which,  BTW, I still find hilarious. The idea of calling drummers Neanderthals in an interview with the top magazine read by drummers,  that’s priceless! Personally,  I didn’t take offense. I thought the unintended humor value overshadowed everything else. I’m sure the record company PR folks were less amused. Not a great way to promote a new album.

I didn’t see the Eagles Fleer…cheapest seat was $400 and that’s just too much
I did go to the Sphere and saw “Postcard from Earth” and just THAT was $100!
REALLY AMAZING…but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced

That stinks that they want so much for tickets, Larry. So, are you back home or at the airport? If so, I’m having the developer work on the Groups right now. Feel free to post in here. We need to inspire our old friends to come out for a feel good reunion and maybe a thread about your trip will do it. It’s not like the moderator will listen if anyone complains that you’re off topic. I can give you a preview of my response.

So please share,  my friend. Create a thread about your trip. I’d enjoy it and I’m certain Fleer,  Bapu and lots of others here would too. I know it didn’t happen,  but it would be funny to see a photo of you at the black jack or roulette table like one of those Vegas big spenders!
