Musio Just Had a Pretty Important Update [NOT A DEAL]

Musio, which a number of us — including me — own, just had an update that I consider pretty significant. For those questioning Cinesample’s stability, the fact that they keep updating the plugin is clearly a good sign that the developer is moving forward.

For those considering Musio 1 perpetual license, I don’t believe it’s on sale anywhere at the moment, but if you’re patient, I’m sure that it will be on sale for as low as $149 to $199 soon, instead of the current $299 at Best Service and $399 at Plugin Boutique are presently offering it at.

Here’s what the latest update, 09-04-2025, included:

– The on-screen keyboard can now show an extended range, and will show key descriptions on mouse-over (will require instrument updates)
– Keyswitch instruments now show the keyswitch name when hovering over the on-screen keyboard
– Added support for a new SKU-based authentication method
– Improved the visual experience of the catalog toolbar
– The catalog browser can now be updated in real time, and shows information about its publication date
– The catalog browser now indicates which collections/instruments are authorized for the current user
– The catalog browser can now be filtered to show authorized collections only
– Added developer information to the collection detail view
– Fixed an issue that could cause a mic-position warning icon to show even if no load errors occurred
– Fixed a case where the download-all button would incorrectly show as enabled in some cases
– Fixed an issue that could create artifacts in the first few seconds of an offline bounce
– Improved the speed at which Musio is able to process audio after loading samples, resulting in faster load times (particularly in larger sessions)
– Updated tutorial slides
– Improved Musio Connect’s compatibility with screen readers/narrators
– Added support for collecting application version statistics
– Improved an error message that occurs when Musio receives an invalid response to an instrument download request
