I got the free upgrade a while back but my installed version is 0.7.6 and the latest is 2.0.0 so worth downloading the update.

I also noticed that they do a Ubuntu version! I keep toying with the idea of dropping Windows in favour of something else and various flavours of Linux are getting better (I’m now using Linux Mint on an old laptop and it’s great) but sadly still not quite there where Audio Production is concerned.

I have used Linux off and on since it was born, and it is a real gift to the world. If my principles were stronger I am sure I could “live” in the Linux world forever. Alas, I like my shiny things and decadent diversions, so I stay on Windows and only use Linux on single purpose hardware (servers, Raspberry Pi’s and such).
