From the email:
We’re excited to have teamed up with Avid to offer you a brand new Pro Tools software package — Pro Tools Intro+ for Focusrite.
Unlike our previously included version, Pro Tools Intro+ for Focusrite is a permanent licence — which means it’s yours to keep, forever.
Pro Tools Intro+ gives you the essential audio and MIDI tools you need for any kind of music production. Get access a curated selection of over 80 effects and instrument plugins, many of which are not included with the regular version of Pro Tools Intro, and are exclusive to Focusrite customers.

No sh@t are they giving away for free Eleven MK II with Pro Tools Intro+? Wow.
Automoderation caught your naughty word, @lastcall. That wasn’t me or Brian, who both would never utter a foul word…ever….;) Still, I’ll put in an asterisk for those easily offended (which doesn’t include me, BTW, but I will use the situation to get a laugh).

Ohhh, as soon as I hit the submit button I knew I did something wrong…
25 push-ups already done!
Ty, I am having a laugh too 🙂
For what it’s worth, it does come with more plugins.
What I wonder now is if they truly are perpetual, or whether, for example, the Eleven MKII with Pro Tools Intro+ plugin, will be unavailable after a year.
I am currently trying to switch back to Pro Tools, and if this license is truly perpetual, omg, getting a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen might be worth it.

We considered ProTools but have decided to either go iMac Mini and Logic or stay on the PC and move over to Reaper. Happy so far Cakewalk by Bandlab but not confidant we won’t be forced to subscribe which isn’t happening. If you need “industry standardization” 🙂 a cheap Focusrite might be a good way to go.
