So I guess I figured they (Sonuscore) were switching to “The Score”.  It seems to me like they are competing with their own products? (The Score and The Orchestra).  Not to mention EW Opus MIDI engine which I understand are coded by the same team.

I only started understanding the various product lines for the first time when The Orchestra went on sale this month.

The free version of The Orchestra — which is all I’ve tried so far —  is a total blast. I’m trying to restrain myself from getting into this. As I’m sure you know, it’s pretty easy to crank out a simple rock song banging out several chords, bass, and drums; but figuring out how to do a decent, well orchestrated piece would take serious time and study. Maybe if I were a lot younger or maybe if I ever retire (unfortunately, it doesn’t look likely). Playing with The Orchestra Essentials definitely tempted me to consider that path.

My upgrade price (from 3) was $99.

I purchased it.

Got an email from support they cancelled the order. They said I did not have 3 (I did and bought it directly from them). I sent them my order number and date  of purchase.

They responded that somehow 3 was not registered in my account (that what they checked) but the order was in my order history (ummmm DUH!).

So, they synced up the registrations with the orders and now 3 showed up for them.

Here’s the best part, they apologized and registered 4 to my account free of charge.
