I received an email from 8Dio saying I was eligible for the crossgrade for Blackbird but when I went to the site, it still showed $30 for me. I do in fact own Blackbird. Guess I need to contact support. They have actually been very responsive in the past.

Yeah, I’d send it through the customer support. They’ve always been excellent in my experience too.

Also, I’d like to let you and those who’ve helped with this site post their referral codes in this thread, as you and others have been such a help to this site, I think it’s only reasonable. I would be happy to replace my referral code with yours — I already own too many sample libraries as it is.

@lamia6 (my go-to for everything technical on this site; she’s written scripts and helped me so many times — I am greatly indebted to her), @bluescat (he’s been there from the beginning on this site, in fact, before I even started building it), @joegyork, and @mustakatu, that goes for you guys too (and anyone else who’s pitched in who I haven’t mentioned, feel free).  While we have a policy against people posting referral codes or affiliate codes in order to keep people from spamming the forum, I’ve contemplated how to reward everyone who helps out, and I’m thinking what I can do is feature people’s referral codes in sale posts (like my original posts) as they save our community money and can also save the people who make this community operate some money and be a way of saying thanks for their help.

I wonder how many others have not been able to crossgrade because they did not receive the email.

I’m having the same problem than doug.. I got the e-mail but no code, I’ve tried Soundpaint support but got no reply…

I ended up here searching online for a tip about what would be the crossgrade price, if it’s worth insisting on contacting support again, since I don’t see much value in spending another $15 for a remastered version of I already have, but if it ends up being free It’s a no brainer!

First, it’s your first post! Welcome! 🙂

I’m pretty sure that you cannot stack codes with SoundPaint. I think the minimum spend with a voucher is $5 (at least it was the last time I used one). I’m friends with the CEO, but it still took their support person a day or two to get back to me with the code for owning the 8Dio version.
