Use coupon code GROUP and it brings it down to $83.16
Might need a sanity check here (both in calculations & mental sanity for going through this effort lol)
But if you’re fresh in the UJAM ecosystem, this seems to be the most cost-effective way to get all of UJAM’s offerings (except Vox Humana)
$83.16 – Essential Bundle from JRRShop (GROUP Coupon)
$49.00 – Intro Bundle from Plugin Boutique
$134.10 – UJAM Music Creation Suite Upgrade 30+ from Audio Deluxe (SUMMER 10 Coupon)
$266.26 Total
Though it looks like you could shave off another $15-$22 if you’re not in a rush, as it seems the UJAM Music Creation Suite Upgrade 30+ seems to bounce around the $112-$119 range at some third-party sellers like Audio Deluxe
UJAM Music Creation Suite Upgrade 30+ seems to be $199 on JRRShop atm, otherwise would’ve recommended just using GROUP and getting that from $149 down to $125.16
Also, if you had 5 UJAM plugins that qualified for the upgrade, then you could grab the Select 5 Bundle Loyalty for $36.96 from JRRShop (with the GROUP Coupon), which could remove the need for the Intro Bundle from Plugin Boutique, bringing this down to $254.22
Check your Plugin Boutique account if you’ve snagged any freebies with purchases and if you’ve got Beat Magazine #235 – August 2025 you can get UJAM Delay as a freebie
I only had 4 plugins, so not quite there for the Select 5 Bundle path
These are some of their very best. And I’ve become somewhat of a Ujam aficionado lately. Their stuff sounds so good. Got their Brute drummer yesterday, with the best sounding floor toms ever. Nick Mason, step aside.
Okay, that little reference was enough to get me started on an old — funny memory. Nick Mason and Rick Fenn put out an album back in the 80s. I saw them at a club in Chicago close to where I lived at the time with a guitarist friend. I went to use the bathroom. While on the urinal (wow — never seen this before in a tangent post) some guy next to me strikes up a conversation and says to me, “I came with friends. I just got here. How is the band?” I say, “Really good. I’m really enjoying the show.” The guy continues, “I’m a guitarist. Is the guitarist any good?” I reply, “He’s excellent. Also, he’s the guy in the urinal to my left.” Rick Fenn laughs and says, “I was concerned you were going to say something bad!” We had a laugh and Rick seemed like a super nice guy with a great sense of humor.
Not to brag, but years later, I also used a urinal next to Tim Finn from Split Enz. But I didn’t talk to him. It was at a Neil Finn show. My wife — girlfriend at the time — and I are both big fans of Neil and I went back to see my wife and said, “Neil has a surprise guest tonight. I can tell you for certain because I just saw him in the bathroom.”
FTR, I have met a number of well known musicians back in the day, but these were the only ones I ran into in bathrooms. I suppose we need a special forum for off the wall stories like this?
