That’s like $9 for Falcon (instead of $300) and $10 for each expansion (instead of $40).

Wish I could just pick 4 expansions for $40.

If I already own Falcon, can I sell off what would be the duplicate Falcon and any duplicate expansions?
edit: I am assuming so (based on seeing it being resold on KVR)…

So – does anyone know if this comes as a bundle?  Or do you get individual license keys?

We do allow license transfers between users, with certain exceptions stated below.
Important note:
The license needs to be over 90 days old before this can be transferred to another iLok account.

The fee to transfer an iLok license is $25 per license, with a maximum fee of $50 per transfer. This fee is charged by PACE, the company that makes iLok.

Shame there isn’t a package of just the expansions for current Falcon owners. Expansion deals are never anywhere close to that good.

A no-brainer. It’s a pretty good deal even if you own Falcon but don’t have any of the expansions. It might be a good deal even if you own Falcon AND some of the expansions. They are rarely sold less than half the price.

I envy the people who are just now starting their music career/hobby.

I’m seriously thinking about getting this and selling my existing Falcon license. If I could get around $100 for it, this bundle would cost me $125 after the iLok transfer fee. I own six of the 19 expansions, so that would make it about $9.60 per expansion for the remaining 13.

Falcon licenses start at $169 on KnobCloud, so I think asking $100-$125 would be fair.

Thoughts?

I think the bigger risk is that the included expansions aren’t any good. 😀

In fact, after sleeping on it, I remembered that the reason I don’t have more Falcon expansions is that I wasn’t very impressed with them when listening to the demos. Also, I have plenty of other synths.

I think I’ll settle for what I currently have and use the potential $100–$125 saved for something else.

P.S. Completionist syndrome is the equally evil twin of GAS. 😐
