NOTE: If you’re not already familiar with ValhallDSP, they are a highly respected plugin developer that specializes in reverbs that I’ve found are highly respected by the developer community. The owner also has a strong policy of not doing sales promotions and keeps his reverb plugins at either $50 or free. Now, that results in them not getting as much word of mouth in the deep-discount-driven world of plugins and sample libraries. So, while they’re not a deal in the sense of a promotion, I want to make sure they still get attention for the quality of their plugins.

FutureVerb was designed from the ground up to give you the most transparent and realistic reverbs we’ve ever made. 8 years of research and development have gone into creating new and innovative algorithmic reverb topologies. The FutureVerb reverb modes are as close to perfect as we have ever heard.

And, since we don’t actually believe in perfection, we added a colorful and powerful Echo section that can add color and warmth, or keep things as clean as you wanna be.

With 8 original Reverb modes and 12 flexible Echo modes, FutureVerb gives you the sonic power you need to create your own future.

Wanna learn more? Head on over the FutureVerb product page to download the demo, read documentation and blog posts, hear sound examples, and try it for yourself.

We are super excited about our newest plugin, and hope you like it as much as we do! Thanks to all y’all at Gearspace for your support over the years!

This is interesting.  Other than freebies, I only “own” Valhalla Delay.  I get the impression from their copy that this is “the reverb to cover all needs”… does that make their other reverbs superfluous?

No, you still need to buy all of them! 🙂 Haha. Just kidding. I really respect this developer, I don’t know him personally, but everything about the way he appears to operate reflects not only a very high-quality developer. I really became aware of him from Supermassive, but more deeply from other developers being so impressed with him. He’s a Washingtonian — who went to graduate school at the University of Washington, according to his bio (he and his wife run the business out of Washington) from other developers praising his work and his values. But the consensus has been that Valhalla reverbs represent an excellent value at $50 each. That said, like you, I only have their freebies and have only purchased reverbs on sales! (“Hi, I’m Peter, and I’m a plugin and sample library hoarder…”).

“With 8 original Reverb modes”  – maybe not?

Dunno. Really need some of the fan boys or girls (no offense intended) to render their opinions.

At some point I’ll have to check this out and see if it works for me, unfortunately just don’t have the time at the moment.
