This video made by an audio engineer from a company that does mastering was in my YouTube feed today. I’d love to get your thoughts on his take on some popular plugins.

What I love about this video is that you know it’s not the kind of video that developers sponsor (hmm, I suppose that — theoretically — competitors of the developers that make the mentioned plugins could covertly sponsor it, but I don’t seriously think that is what happened here), that you’re getting this engineer’s sincere opinion. I wish more videos like this existed instead of YouTube influencers mainly doing shill videos for developers. Whether we agree with the guy’s opinions or not, I appreciate and respect people sharing their honest opinions — and taking the time to explain why they have those opinions — instead of just promoting stuff. Long live free speech!
