What about the UAP/UFO hearing?

Congress held another hearing yesterday on the nature of UAP/UFO’s.  I didn’t watch it; but instead read highlights on the web which I found very interesting.  To me, the most intriguing statement of the day came from Luis Elizondo, a former U.S. counterintelligence officer, who asserted, “We are not alone in the Cosmos”.  Interesting stuff.  What do you guys think?

I am a science guy, and I have seen no evidence.  Now mind you, I find the subject very entertaining.  I don’t know if you are familiar with a late night radio show called “Coast to Coast AM” but I have listened to it for years.  I read a lot of sci-fi, and enjoy thinking “what if”.  That all being said, those are flights of fancy and I am a stickler for the scientific method.  I’ve listened to “Coast” for over 30 years.  In that time cameras have proliferated to cover vast territory, besides being in nearly everyone’s pocket.  Still nothing.  But it’s fun.  I can say that I suspect that we are not alone in the cosmos, based on what we know about life’s building blocks.  But the cosmos is vast.

That’s pretty much where I come down.  It’s fun to think about, but I’d love to see some of the evidence that Elizondo and others talk about.  After these hearings I always feel a bit like the dog that’s being teased with a piece of steak.

And “Coast to Coast” was always fun!
