Forums › ALL THINGS MUSIC › Which forum here is the right one for discussing the Tonex pedal?
Which forum do you think is the best for discussing the Tonex pedal. I bought the Tonex One and a Waveshare 4.3B and Chocolate v2 bluetooth footswitch. I was going to post some pictures and links to Gregg Smith who developed software to control the Tonex One from those devices.
Sorry for the delay in answering this. I’m spread a bit thin on the site. I’m finally opening the site up to the public this month, so we should soon be seeing more activity.
The forum called Musical Instruments / Music Gear is the forum to discuss all things related to music gear. They’re then broken down into two subforums, one for physical music gear, the other for virtual gear. As you’re looking to discuss physical music gear, that’s the one.
Granted, with a Early Adopters Group of only around 115, everything but the Deals forum is pretty light on activity, so I really appreciate your leading the way in other forums. That’s always the hardest part of establishing a new online community — getting people who initiate things. Once that starts, others will follow.
I’ve set up the email alerts for the site — we’ve sent off more than 1,500 email notifications so far. That should have an impact of people being more engaged on the site. I plan on ensuring everything is right with the registration system next week, and once that’s done, I will be opening the site up to the public and we should see a lot more activity on the site in the coming months. I have four of us who will be handling moderation — as it’s always going to be a challenge, especially when I’m committed to keeping this forum from the kind of toxic posts and free of shill posters that are all too common in the big composing and music-making related forums. The experiment moves on!
