You Should Now Be Receiving System Emails and Email Alerts You Set Up

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to inform you that LinkedMusicians has now been set up with an email service provider to handle this site’s system emails. We were previously using the notoriously unreliable PHP emails that almost no one received — they went straight into people’s spam folders 97% of the time. Now, there is something additional I will be setting up to ensure these emails have a better chance of NOT going into your spam folder — but if you haven’t received an email, please check your spam folder, search for “noreply@linkedmusicians.com” or just “linkedmusicians” and you should be able to find any emails that didn’t reach your inbox. Be sure to mark those as NOT being SPAM and put the email address on your white list.

The only emails you’ll ever receive are emails for performing actions on the site, like registering or requesting a password reset, or any alerts you’ve set yourself. You will not be sent unsolicited marketing emails — these emails are sent automatically by your actions or actions performed on the site that result in email confirmations.
