Sorry it didn’t work but thanks for the update. I’ll take that code out of my “plugin deals database”.

$200 for Music Production Suite 7.1 upgrade seems a little disappointing. It was $99 at introduction. All I’m really looking for is Neutron 5 which is NOT 50% off (it’s $120).

I use this sometimes. Mainly to “prove” to my clients that, yes, my mix IS representation of the whatever genre is being worked on.

fretman replied to the topic AI piano player? in the forum Samplers, Sample Players & Sample Libraries
Thanks. It looks like each of the 4 pianos has their own customized AI player. I’ll do research online, but has anyone here is used both UJAM’s and Toontrack’s AI player and are willing to give an informed opinion about how they compare?
fretman replied to the topic NOT A DEAL – AmpleSound updates their basses to 4.01 in the forum Virtual & Physical Music Gear Deals
Bug fixed:
- Fixed audio crackling issues when buffer size is set to 256 or lower.
- Fixed host sync issues in the Tab Reader.
- Fixed tuning file problems across different instruments.
- Fixed a bug related to Round Robin sample cycling.
- Fixed root note errors in the Dice (random generator) feature of the Riffer.

A friend of mine uses Logic Pro and he sent me a demo of a piece using Logic’s new AI piano player and (being a guitar player) I was pretty impressed. He could specify position and “busyness” of each hand, among many other options. It looks like EZKeys does this. Are there any other AI piano players?
Thanks!

While browsing their website, I accidently discovered AmpleSound as updated all their basses to v4.01. I don’t know what the changes are.
fretman replied to the topic Get $10 Off Any Purchase of $40 or More at Audio Plugin Deals with Code in the forum Virtual & Physical Music Gear Deals
It’s a pretty soft, intimate sound. I don’t think “cutting thru a mix” is one of it’s hallmarks. I think of it more like a piano for Lumineers-style music where it doesn’t have much competition with other instruments. But on the other hand, it’s lack of forwardness would allow it to blend very well in the background to add a little something to…Read More

But doesn’t Musio lock you in forever? If you stop the subscription and next year you need to re-open an old project that used Musio, aren’t you stuck?

Hopefully the plugin/sample-library industry learned from Waves’ backlash when they tried to abruptly drop perpetual licenses and force everyone onto subscriptions. Let’s hope Splice and Spitfire keep that lesson in mind. I don’t think they’re dumb or unaware of what people are saying, but money does we…fretman replied to the topic Get Total Studio 5 MAX fo$/€99.99 (TS4 MAX users) and intro prices all around in the forum Virtual & Physical Music Gear Deals
Yes, that happens. If you like IK products, the best deal BY FAR is to wait for their Studio Max sales. Don’t be tempted to buy individual products on special sales. Be strong. Wait for their Studio Max sales.

Right, That’s why I never buy any of their individual products. I always wait for the Studio Max sales. That’s how I got T-Racks 6.
fretman replied to the topic IK Total Studio 5 (New) in the forum Virtual & Physical Music Gear Deals
This is what I’m waiting for, although I’m not sure why. I have never reach for IK first. Still, this gets me Track6, Pianoverse, ARC4, and MODO Drum 1.5. If you don’t get in on this intro price, it’ll be quite a while before it gets down this low again.
I went to IK’s website to check on jam points and I had a $100 coupon waiting for me! Not…Read More

Regardless of your thoughts about WUP, no one has gotten fired by using Waves. They make great plugins. And this is a killer deal! It’s only a small leap from this to their Mercury collection.

Hmmm, this really intrigues me. It doesn’t claim to have AI yet it appears to automatically pick bow techniques based on how you play and what mode you’re in. Has anyone used it? Think it’s applicable for roots music?

I use the IR-Live Convolution Reverb ALL the time. The list in their IR library is quite impressive. It’s the only one that I’ve found that has The Ryman Auditorium.
